Pregnancy can act as a catalyst in relationships, this can happen between a pregnant woman and members of her family or friends, but it is most common within a relationship between a couple, when either one or both feel overwhelmed, worried or fearful.
This may result in relationship problems or existing relationship problems becoming more intense. Couples may question their future together, regardless of whether the woman choses to continue the pregnancy or not.
At times it can be helpful to speak with someone outside of your immediate relationships about your concerns, whether that is as an individual or together.
In acknowledging the importance of all pregnant women and their babies, Pregnancy Counselling and Support provides counselling, physical assistance, moral support and information to women in need, and their families, in a caring, accepting environment.
