The changes associated with pregnancy can impact upon a woman’s emotional and physical wellbeing, especially if she suffers a pregnancy-related illness. This may feel overwhelming, even more so when a woman has a young family or does not have family or friends who can help her. This is when having someone to give you a hand around the home can make all the difference.
Home Helpers can help with such duties as light housework, or supervision of Baby or existing children, while you take time to have a break (although children must remain in your care at all times), and, if you are unable to drive, Home Helpers can even pick up medicines or a few groceries on your behalf.
It is important to note that our Home Helpers are not counsellors – if you feel emotionally vulnerable or have problems that you wish to discuss, please call our help line to speak with a counsellor.
